Business resources available

We know these times are less than desirable, so we have compiled a few business help options to help!

Wage Subsidy -The Government has announced that a wage subsidy will be available to businesses impacted by the move to Alert Level 4 on 17 August 2021. Wage subsidy applications are now open (from 9 am on Friday, August 20, for two weeks) and will be available to all New Zealand businesses and self-employed people that meet eligibility criteria.

Resurgence payment - A resurgence payment is also available for eligible businesses which have had a revenue reduction. The Resurgence Support Payment (RSP) is a payment to help support viable and ongoing businesses or organisations due to a COVID-19 alert level increase to level 2 or higher.

Going Digital - Making sure your business has an online presence is also important during alert level changes. Digital Boost is a resource which can help get your business online. Digital Boost provides access to free, self-paced training and tools and teaches skills to launch businesses into the digital world.

Rural Business advice - Government-developed guidance is available for those working in the primary industries. This includes advice for farms and agricultural businesses during Alert Level 4, and Alert Level 3.

Regional Business Partners program - is here for New Zealand’s small-to-medium business owners. Perhaps you’re facing some challenges and would like some help to work through them. Or maybe your business is tracking well, and you’re keen to grow to the next level.
